JAMES WADE reached the last 16 of the latest Players Championship at the K2 Centre Crawley but was edged out by Steve Farmer.
Wade accounted for Andy Jenkins in the last 32 and Simon Whitlock defeated Colin Monk in the last 64.
Adrian Lewis beat Steve Farmer to take the £6,000 top prize.
