HAMPSHIRE UK OPEN PLAY OFF – 5th APRIL 2010
TONY HUTCHINSON of Gosport won the Hampshire Play Off to gain a spot in the televised stages of the PDC UK Open with an all day display of excellent darts which culminated in a terrific Final against fellow Hampshire County player NILLSON PRITCHARD
In the best of 11 legs final Nillson blistered into a 2-0 lead by firing 2 x 12 dart legs and with finishes on bull in each to take out 161 in the first leg and 121 in the second
Against this form Tony had it all to do buit with some clinical scoring and finishing he levelled the match at 4 – 4 and then seemed to go up a gear to take the score line to 6 – 4 and book himself a place at the Reebok Stadium in early June
To complement this fantastic opportunity Tony will also have all expenses paid plus 4 x nights hotel accommodation for himself and a guest at Bolton, also as part of his Prize Tony also took away £150 in cash plus a free weekend for 2 at the Mill Rythe Spring Darts Festival and free entry into the Hampshire Open 2010
As Runner Up Nillson received £100 plus a free weekend for 2 at Mill Rythe and free entry into the Hampshire Open
