For the second year in succession Colin Monk lifted the Hampshire Open Title from a massive entry of 520 players at the Novotel and Ibis Hotels in Southampton on Saturday 30th May 2009
140 Spectators also attended and were treated to some magnificent displays of darting skills by players from all over England
As the event was completely open and welcomed players from all affiliations including the BDO and PDC it gave everyone the rare opportunity to compete against each other
Colin defeated Warwickshire's Tony Randell in the final
Thanks go to all players that took part for their sportsmanship and co-operation on the day

First time for me at the Hampshire open. Out first round but will be back next year :-)
was ran better than ever even tho more entered this year,
great day, great turnout even greater winner.
